Rusty Facer is a Utah native with proud Scottish heritage. He graduated from Layton High School and Weber State University. He is now getting a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Utah. His goal is to learn as much as he can about local government and become a City Manager. Five years ago, he enlisted in the Army National Guard as a Chaplain Assistant.  After he finishes his MPA at the U, he plans to pursue a Masters of Divinity and become a Chaplain. He is currently working with the Utah Legislature as a Performance Audit Intern. He and his wife Brooke have been married for six years.
