Remembering a Hero. Inspiring Service.
Major Brent Taylor was a man who dedicated his life to serving others. He served in the Utah Army National Guard for over 20 years, and he was on his fourth combat deployment when he lost his life in Afghanistan in November of 2018.
Major Taylor’s memorial Foundation seeks to carry forward the legacy he left behind and is based on three key principles: TRAINING service-oriented leaders from all walks of life; HONORING military members, first responders, and their families; ENGAGING community members in meaningful acts of service. The Major Brent Taylor Foundation has already made an impact on hundreds of lives through its events and programs.
Legacy Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship program is intended to support students who have demonstrated a passion for service, leadership, and community involvement.
Through this program, we offer financial support to students who want to make a difference in their communities and beyond. We believe that with dedication and determination they can change the world, and we want to see that happen!
BT5 Leadership Legacy Program
The BT5 Leadership Training Program is based on the high school graduation speech Brent Taylor gave while serving as Student Body President of the Class of 1997 for Chandler High School in Arizona.
It is our hope that each person who completes the BT5 training will learn how to use these principles as a guide for living a successful life and achieving their goals.
