HONOR

Honor service members, first responders, and their families

Our Cause

The Major Brent Taylor Foundation is dedicated to recognizing and paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifices made by military personnel, first responders, and their families. One way they achieve this is through flag missions, parades, and displays, which serve as visible symbols of gratitude and remembrance for the service and sacrifices of these individuals. Additionally, the foundation organizes a series of events during Veterans Week to commemorate and honor the contributions of veterans and active-duty service members. Furthermore, the foundation extends its support to various local military-related memorials and monuments, ensuring that these sites serve as enduring reminders of the courage and dedication exhibited by those who have served their country. Through these initiatives, the Major Brent Taylor Foundation aims to uphold the legacy of service and sacrifice while providing meaningful support to military members, first responders, and their families.

Flag Missions

The Major Brent Taylor Foundation offers a comprehensive range of flag services to honor and commemorate various occasions related to military members, veterans, and their families. These services include providing flags for homecomings and departures of military personnel, creating a powerful symbol of welcome or farewell as they return from or embark on their deployments.

Moreover, the foundation extends its support to veterans’ funerals, where the presence of flags serves as a poignant tribute to the service and sacrifice of the deceased. Additionally, the foundation participates in parades, sporting events, and other community gatherings, where the display of flags helps to instill a sense of patriotism and appreciation for those who have served.

The flag services provided by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation serve as a powerful means of expressing gratitude and respect for the sacrifices made by military members and their families. Whether it’s the emotional embrace of a loved one returning home under the fluttering stars and stripes, the solemn dignity of a flag draped casket honoring a fallen hero, or the stirring sight of Old Glory waving proudly at community events, each flag represents a profound connection to the ideals of service and sacrifice.

By offering these services for a diverse range of occasions, from joyous homecomings to somber farewells and celebratory gatherings, the foundation not only honors the individuals who have served but also fosters a sense of unity and appreciation within the community.

The MBTF has also helped Pleasant View City with their soon-to-be-dedicated Veterans Memorial (coming Summer of 2022) and the George E Wahlen All Wars Veterans Memorial.

We are also proud to assist with the travel expenses of some of Utah’s Gold Star Families to travel to the National Infantry Museum’s Global War on Terrorism Memorial Monument at Fort Benning, GA.
