Cache Valley Remembers: The 9/11 Project 2024

Most of us can recall the exact moment, and what we instantly felt as we watched on television the first plane, and then, even more unbelievable, a second plane crash into New York City’s Twin Towers. A powerful moment in history that will never be forgotten.*

The Foundation has made it our mission to ensure we remember those who sacrificed it all on that memorable, tragic day, and how a sense of patriotism and brotherhood rose out of the ashes.

The communities of Northern Utah have come together over the past three years, providing an immersive museum experience, and an interactive community resource fair for those of all ages. This year the event is being hosted in Cache Valley at the Hansen Family Sports Complex, 220 E. 2850 N, North Logan.

In addition to the immersive museum experience, there will be a professional career fair, with military, medical, fire, police, civic and educational professionals in attendance, as well as non-profit and service organizations; a military tribute for all branches of the U.S. Armed Services, and a Touch-a-Truck exhibit.

There will also be a Blood Drive on September 11, and a Tunnel to Towers 5k on Saturday, September 14 starting at 9 am.

Field trips and group tours are available. If you would like to schedule a day and time to bring your class, team, company or other organization, please email info@majorbrenttaylor.com, and include “Field Trip” in the subject line.

Invite your friends and family! Share this opportunity to experience a truly memorable experience. One you won’t soon forget.

Volunteers are needed for set-up on Monday, September 9 from 5 – 7 pm, and Tuesday, September 10 from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. Volunteers are also needed throughout the event, September 11 – 14. Details and how to sign up are here.
