Flag Deployment Ceremony 2026

Each year, our community gathers at the base of Coldwater Canyon to witness one of the most moving sights imaginable—the unfurling of the massive American flag across the mountainside. This breathtaking moment unites thousands in reflection, gratitude, and patriotic pride.

This year’s Flag Unfurling Ceremony will include:

• Pre-ceremony gathering and live music beginning at 11:00 am
• A community countdown to the noon flag deployment
• A brief program featuring a guest speaker and musical performance from the Lomond View Elementary choir
• Enjoy cookies and cocoa as we gather in gratitude

All ages are welcome to attend this free community event. Please bring family, friends, and neighbors to share in the experience of honoring sacrifice and celebrating unity.

Can’t make it in person? Watch the flag drop live on our social media channels.

Volunteer Opportunities
We invite volunteers to help make this day possible. Support is needed to:

• Set up and take down chairs and the temporary stage
• Serve as ushers for veterans and elderly guests
• Assist with light hospitality following the ceremony

If you’d like to help, your service will add to the spirit of the day and ensure every guest feels welcomed.
